THREE SERMONS
Give Me Your Love, I Gave You My Life Daughters of Zion
"How beautiful are thy feet with shoes, O princes's daughter! the joints of thy thighs are like jewels, the work of the hands of a cunning workman. Thy navel is like a round goblet, which wanteth not mixture; thy belly is like an heap of wheat set about with lilies. Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins....This thy stature is like to a palm tree and thy breasts two clusters of grapes." (Song of Solomon 7:1-7).
O that I were a thousand men, then I would love them all. But I am only one, yet still I love them all. God looks from heaven and beholds; he sees that the fair maidens are all together with me. How shall I save them, will they each wait? For I am only one, and they are many (Jezreel).
"Behold his bed, which is Solomon's; three score valiant men are about it, of the valiant of Israel. They all hold swords, being expert in war: every man hath his sword upon his thigh because of fear in the night. King Solomon made himself a bed of the wood of Lebanon. He made the pillars thereof of silver, the bottom thereof of gold, the covering of it of purple, the midst thereof being paved with love, for the daughters of Jerusalem." (Song of Solomon 3:7-10).
Lord, when I see them all, my mind thinks of love. They all come to thy place of prayer, and when I see them my heart leaps within me. When they kneel their secrets are discovered; my eyes become as the eagle's. When they lift their hands their garments flow and I see their tender places. Stay me, O Lord, for I try to come to thee, but thou hast created them all so well. How shall I enter into rest? Destroy not all the delights of thy hands O God. Let those who hear me be spared, for I love them all, though only in thee do I find my comfort. The womb is only fruitful by thee. Have mercy O God for thou hast ordained me to speak love to them (Jezreel).
"For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the Lord, to provoke the eyes of his glory." (Isaiah 3:8).
"Doth not Wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?" (Proverbs 8:1).
"The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was...when he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:...when he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: Then I was by him as one brought up with him; and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him. Rejoicing in the habitable parts of his earth; and my delights {images} were with the sons of men...Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not...For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favor of the Lord. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul; all they that hate me love death." (Proverbs 8)
"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion." (Genesis 1:26)
"For the invisible things of God from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, {created} even his eternal power and godhead {Trinity}; so that they {we} are without excuse." (Romans 1:20).
O God I plead with you; preserve the vessels that thou hast made in thine own image. Thou didst command our father Adam to subdue the earth. He sought in his mind but found no way. He was perplexed for all that was put under him was created in two's. Then thou didst give him rest; thou didst cause a deep sleep to fall upon our father, and he dreamed. Thou did take from his side the strength of his heart. Thou didst give unto our father, wisdom to guide him, and to be his weapon. When our father awoke, he beheld wisdom and said, "This is bone of my bone, and flesh of my flesh; now I shall be as God, I shall bring forth and subdue the earth. God's image shall conquer and subdue all things." (Jezreel)
"The Lord standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people. The Lord will enter into judgment with the ancients {leaders} of his people, and the princes thereof; ye have eaten up the vineyard, the spoil of the poor is in your houses." (Isaiah 3:13,14)
O Lord God, at what time wilt thou reprove the robbers of thy people? For I have thy spirit and they hear not me. I am poor, but they are rich. Their daughters laugh me to scorn; they say I am a fool. I would wish to take them into my chambers, and give them good seed, but they love me not but hate me, because I am thy servant; and they do not understand that I love them. I will go away and weep, my heart is heavy for the daughters of Zion. O how I wished they loved me; we would then subdue the earth and bring it unto thee for ever. Why do they hate me? (Jezreel)
"Moreover the Lord saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty and walk with stretched forth necks and seductive eyes, walking and mincing as they go and making a noise with their shoes to be noticed: therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the Lord will make naked their secret parts. In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments....The chains, bracelets, bonnets, headbands, earrings, rings, changeable suits of apparel. And it shall come to pass that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent and instead of well set hair baldness." (Isaiah 3)
"Love not the world, neither the things that are of the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away and the lust thereof; but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever." (1 John 2:15-17).
"...The prophecy of Isaiah 3 was presented before me as applying to these last days, and the reproofs are given to the daughters of Zion who have thought only of appearance and display. Read verse 23; 'Thy men shall fall by the sword, and the mighty in the war.' I was shown that this scripture will be strictly fulfilled. Young men and women professing to be Christians yet having no Christian experience and having borne no burdens and felt no individual responsibility are to be proved. They will be brought low in the dust and will long for inexperience in the things of God which they have failed to obtain. War lifts his helmet to his brow O God, protect thy people now." )Testimonies 3 p. 270).
O Lord, thou hast created all flesh. It would not be wise for me to enter into their womb. For if they hear not thy instruction, they would bear bitter fruit. Will they not even hate me, for the love that I have offered? I died for them and gave my blood and water for them to drink. Why do they not discern my great sacrifice for them? I am lonely and but one. Why don't they love me? Have not I flesh also like them, even for ever? I will plead for them, maybe they will consider and humble their hearts.
"Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever. The sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre. Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness; therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows....Kings' daughters were among thy honourable women, upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir. Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house; so shall the king greatly desire thy beauty; for he is thy Lord and worship thou him...The king's daughter is all glorious within; her clothing is of wrought gold. She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework; the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee. With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought; they shall enter into the king's palace. Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth. I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations; therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever." (Psalm 45:6-17).

GET READY! GET READY! GET READY!
"I create the fruit of the lips, Peace, peace to him that is far off [from righteousness], and to him that is near, saith the Lord; and I will heal him." Isa. 57:19.
To the beloved saints of God who in faith obey that form of doctrine given to them which leads to the ways of rest. Happy Sabbath and happy New Moon to you! I, who also am the chief of sinners, am a partaker of the manifold mercies of God, given by His Word as meat in due season, revealed to us in the light of the face of Jesus (Branch) in Whom is all mercy and truth for ever and ever. Let us hold fast our profession at this present time. Let us be planted on a sure foundation, a rock that cannot be moved, founded in the Word of God, revealed at this time for you who are to be quickened by the Spirit that rose Jesus our Lord from the grave (1 Pet. 3:18). The way (path) of the just is uprightness, though most upright dost weigh (measure) the path of the just (God has a narrow path for us to follow; it is not devised by man). "Then Jesus would encourage them (us) by raising His glorious right arm, and from His arm came a light which waved over the Advent band, and they shouted, `Alleluia!'"-Early Writings, p. 14, 15.
"Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O Lord, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee. With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. [It is better to learn about God's judgment by Inspiration, than for them to actually happen to us. The seventh seal is the most blessed light we have. Let us not look to the things of this world which are darkness, but to the Father of lights.] Let favour be shewed to the wicked [by giving executive Ezekiel 9 by a message, seventh seal], yet will he not learn righteousness; in the land of uprightness [the kingdom] will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the Lord [the Word of God]. Lord, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see [the wicked remain as such, because they refuse to see the Lord's hand that is lifted up in Rev. 10:5-7]:but they shall see [eventually], and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them." Isa. 26:8-11. (Read all of Isaiah, Chapters 20-28 often.)
I have witnessed
the love of God towards us in rich streams, flowing from the mountains of God.
We do see the Lord's hand being lifted up and therefore we are blessed. We know
that we are on the right path, the highway of the Lord. Let us not fear that
God has not chosen us, for in seeing these truths we know we are accepted. "But
thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah,
yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler [feeder] in
Israel; whose goings forth have been of old, from everlasting....And this man
shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he
shall tread
in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds [seven angels],
and eight principal men [seven kingdoms on earth and one after the millennium:
Adam, Noah, Moses, David, Gentiles, Christ, Wave Sheaf, and all seven in one-eighth:
the seven angels plus the Holy Spirit, the Mother of us all]....Thine hand shall
be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off."
Micah 5:2,5,9.
Yes, this morning
my faith was severely tried. I was dreaming, and in my dream I saw a young man
who was very unruly. He had in his hand a razor, but to me it appeared he was
too young to shave. I attempted to take the razor from him, and so he began
to cut my arms with it. I then had to overpower him and discipline him. The
young man was about 17 or 18, but when I punished him all of a sudden he became
as a little child. He cried out and told me that he was going to tell on me.
I knew that his worldly father was coming to check on his cry, so I feared on
what I would answer him. I knew that worldly people did not raise their children
properly, so I feared that the father would be more apt to listen to the child
that now appeared to be as a baby, than to listen to me. The father came into
the room, and looked at me very angrily. I then showed him what I had done.
I had in my arms a plastic bottle of water and grape juice. I patted the bottle
to illustrate the discipline I had given the young child. I was trying to figure
why this was, when all of a sudden I was being hurled into pitch blackness.
Again helpless and terrified, I, in all my weakness,
looked to the promises of God, and by faith swung the sword of truth into the
darkness that engulfed me, saying, The Lord rebuke thee, Satan. I had sat up
in my bed, and as I looked out the window beside me, I hoped to see in the heavens
a reason for all this. Holding to the sword, I said to the darkness, I know
that I have spoken against the messengers of God, and have dishonored God; I
will not say anything against you Satan, but I will look to God, for my Mother
and Father will save me. They have promised. No feelings of strength were in
my heart now. The sword this time had been thrown against the prince of darkness
in utter helplessness. Only God could make it stick. As I looked up, I knew
it had to be of God. Then the darkness broke. A sweet, gentle voice spoke and
said, Trust in Me. Write down what has happened to you, and send it to your
brethren that they may be prepared. Dear brethren, STUDY. I say, STUDY. It is
a good land and we can take it
"And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Rev. 21:5-8. "And there shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures [eagles] also be gathered. everyone with her mate. Seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want [be without] her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and His spirit it hath gathered them. And he hath cast the lot [appointed place] for them, and his hand hath divided it unto them by line [seven messages]: they shall possess it forever, from generation to generation shall they dwell therein." Isa. 34:15-17. (Read all of Isaiah 35.)
"And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not. I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren, that have the testimony of Jesus; worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. [See Isa. 13:5.] And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron. And he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper [marriage supper] of the great God." Rev. 19:9-17. "Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand and I will do all my pleasure: Calling a ravenous bird from the east." Isa. 46:10, 11. "For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day....And they answered and said unto him, Where Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body [carcase] is, thither will the eagles [ravenous birds] be gathered together." Luke 17:24, 37. (Read all of Luke 17:20-37.) "Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he sat a tabernacle for the sun, which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race." Ps. 19:4, 5.

BLOW YE THE TRUMPET IN ZION
"He that dasheth in pieces is come up before thy face: keep the munition, watch the way, make thy loins strong, fortify thy power mightily." Nah. 2:1.
"Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! To what end is it for you? The day of the Lord is darkness, and not light. As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him." Amos 5:18-20.
"You only have I known of all the families of the earth; therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities. Can two walk together, except they be agreed? Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing? Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all? Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the Lord hath not done it? Surely the Lord God will do nothing but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? The Lord God hath spoken, who can but prophesy?" Amos 3:2-8.
"And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: and he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot upon the earth, and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices." Rev. 10:1-3.
"And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth LIFTED UP HIS HAND to heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever and ever...that there should be time no longer: but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel (Rev. 14:17), when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God SHOULD BE finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets (in the judgment of the living). And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth." Rev. 10:5-8.
"A record of a divine survey of this world's history from creation to redemption would be of great importance at this present time. In an age of infidelity, atheism, and hypocrisy, men who profess to be wise in secular, as well as RELIGIOUS MATTERS, have lost sight of the source of true wisdom and knowledge 'Because that, when they knew God they glorified Him (Them) not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise they (have) become fools.' (Rom. 1:21,22.) Even those who profess to be teachers of righteousness, have forfeited their faith in the biblical reckoning of creation. God having knowledge of the present deceptive denial of His holy Word, has devised a prophetic blue-print in symbols of beasts, wings, ribs, horns, heads, crowns, etc., by which He points out in this prophetic panorama, the facts, with a force that SHOULD humiliate men and show them their utter ignorance and lack of wisdom." Shepherd's Rod, Vol. 2, p. 41.
"Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time (1930), even hidden things, and thou didst not know them. They are created NOW, and not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them. Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from that time that thine EAR was not opened; for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously, and wast called a transgressor form the womb. For my name's sake will I defer my anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off." Isa. 48:6-9.
There are many today throughout Christendom who feel that they have a calling of God to proclaim the day of the Lord--the second coming. Those blessed few feel it their divine duty to gather the 144,000 from the church.
Our Lord directed the disciples to leave the man alone who was casting out devils in His name. Many may justify themselves that they fall into the category of the man casting out devils, while the uninformed disciples are busy hindering them in their work. If this be the case, at present, what utter confusion there must be both for the man and the disciples.
NOW FOR THE REMEDY
Where is the Lord?
This is a question of vital importance to us now. For any man in his right mind should know that the Lord, and the Lord only, could straighten these things out for the Lord knows all things (John 2:24,25). "But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offense unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men (human understanding). Then said Jesus unto his DISCIPLES, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever shall save his life (in this world for his own selfish purpose) shall lose it: and whosoever shall lose his life (make God's interest his sole interest) for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man GIVE in exchange for his soul?" Matt. 16-23-26. "Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters (Ezek. 47; Joel 3:18), and he that hath no money (if all we have is the Lord's, we have no money of our own--read Luke 17:10) come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labor for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good (butter and honey--Isa. 7), and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Incline your EAR, and come unto me: HEAR (that which shall be given in exchange for your souls), and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people." Isa. 55:1-4. (Read verses 5-13.)
"Be silent, O all flesh, before the Lord: for He is raised up out of His holy habitation." Zech. 2:13.
"And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan (an adversary) standing at his right hand to resist him (hindering his work). And the Lord said unto Satan, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan; even the Lord that hath chosen Jersualem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments (symbol of sins), and stood before the angel...And the angel of the Lord protested unto Joshua, saying, Thus saith the Lord of Hosts; If thou wilt walk in MY WAYS, and if thou wilt keep MY CHARGE, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by (read 2 Ki. 6:16,17).
"HEAR (the great price) now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and (not only thou but) thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH (special resurrection). For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes (complete vision): behold, I will engrave the graving thereof (as was the law on Sinai), saith the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one DAY." Zech. 3:1-3, 6-9.
As we can see, the Lord speaks through his angel (messenger); not only are the people commanded to hear and obey, but Joshua, likewise.
So, now we have found the Lord (the angel).
Where is Joshua?
Will the real Joshua of today please reveal himself (herself)? The Lord demands obedience: "if (conditional) thou wilt keep my charge."
"Come, now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins (garments) be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat of the good of the land: but if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword (Ezek. 22): for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers (haters of truth). Thy silver is become dross, they wine mixed with water." Isa 1:18-22. Naturally those who go on living independently of God (angel of the Lord) are not only committing wickedness, even though unconsciously, but are also laboring in vain. Furthermore, their eating in darkness (that which is not bread), not having Divine light on the subject, causes them to eat food such as brings, not strength, but sorrow, wrath, and sickness."
"Early Writings, page 277 says: 'I saw angels hurrying to and fro in heaven, descending to the earth, and again ascending to heaven, preparing for the fulfillment of some important event. Then I saw another mighty angel commissioned to descend to the earth, to unite his voice with the third angel, and give POWER and FORCE to his message. Great power and glory were imparted to the angel, and as he descended, the earth was lightened with his glory...This message seemed to be an addition to the third message.' It seems in the expression, 'the angels hurrying to and fro', the author has reference to the fulfillment of Ezekiel 9; and then follows the mighty angel of the loud cry of Rev 18:1." --Shepherd's Rod, Vol. 1, pp. 35, 36. (Second and third angel.)
"We see before us a special work to be done...the fourteenth chapter of Revelation is a chapter of the deepest interest. This scripture will soon be understood in all its bearings, and the message given to John the Revelator will be repeated with distinct utterance." --Review & Herald, October 13, 1904. (Testimonies to Ministers, p. 300.) (So the 12 -- 144,000 -- can know not to bother the man casting out devils.)
"From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard SONGS, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My LEANNESS, my LEANNESS, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers hath dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously. Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth." Isa. 24:16, 17.
"Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow;; for their wickedness is great. MULTITUDES, MULTITUDES in the valley of decision; for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision." Joel 3:13, 14. (Rev. 14:17.)
"O JERUSALEM, JERUSALEM, thou that killest the prophets and stonest them which are sent unto thee. How often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not. Behold, your house is left unto you desolate (unless you repent)." Matt. 23:37, 38.
"And he said unto his father, MY HEAD, MY HEAD. And he said to a lad, Carry him unto his mother." 2 Ki. 4:19.
"And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it, and he cried, MY FATHER, MY FATHER, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in TWO PIECES." 2 Ki. 2:11, 12.
"Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and wept over his face, and said, O MY FATHER, MY FATHER, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And Elisha said unto him, Take bow and arrows. And he took unto him bow and arrows. And he said to the king of Israel, Put thine hand upon the bow. And he put his hand upon it: and Elisha put his hands upon the king's hands. And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. The Elisha said, Shoot. And he shot. And he said, The arrow of the Lord's deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria." 2 Ki. 13:14-17.
"Who hath declared from the beginning that we may know? and beforetime, that we may say, He is righteous? yea, there is none that showeth, yea, there is none that declareth, yea, there is none that heareth your words. The first (that shows and declares) shall say to Zion, BEHOLD, BEHOLD, them: and I will give to Jerusalem one that bringeth GOOD TIDINGS. For I beheld, and there was no man; even among them, and there was no counsellor, that, when I asked of them, could answer a word (against the angel of Zechariah 3)." Isa. 41:26-28.
"Then the angel that talketh with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might (army), nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain (church)? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, GRACE, GRACE unto it." Zech. 4:5-7.
"I create the fruit of the lips: PEACE, PEACE to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the Lord; and I will heal him." Isa. 57:19.
"The Lord's voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom (Joshua) shall see thy name: hear (the great price) ye the rod and Who (but the Lord) hath appointed it." Mic. 6:9.
"Woe is me, for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat (harvest over): my soul desired the firstripe fruit." Mic. 7:1. (Jer. 8:13, 20-22.)
"Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in BASHAN and GILEAD, AS IN days of old." Mic. 7:14.
"And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a SHARP SICKLE. And another ANGEL came out from the altar, which had POWER OVER FIRE; and he cried with a loud cry to him that had a SHARP sickle, saying, Thrust in thy SHARP sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth (false church leaders) and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God." Rev. 14:17-19. (Joel 3:13.)
"AWAKE, AWAKE; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself form the bands of thy neck, O CAPTIVE daughter of Zion...Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring again Zion." And I said, I HAVE looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps THEREON, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof...So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord? Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, , my lord." Zech. 4:2,4,5,6.
"And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth." Rev. 11:3,4.
"While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at MIDNIGHT there was a cry made, Behold, the Bridegroom cometh, go ye out to meet him." Matt. 25:5,6.
"And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt. And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter (Jonah), Simon, sleepest thou? couldest thou not watch one hour (fourteen days)?...And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners." Mark 14:36,37,41.
"And he spake unto them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; when they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand...Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, til all be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkedness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a SNARE shall it come upon all of them that dwell on the face of the whole earth." Luke 21:29,30,32-35.

"And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world (even the church, too) should be taxed." Luke 2:1.
"Is it lawful for us to give tribute to Caesar, or no?...Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesar's. And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's." Luke 20:22,24,25.

"Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab (delivered Rahab--Protestant Reformation), and wounded the dragon?...Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they (Joshua and thy fellows that sit before thee) shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away. I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass; and forgettest the Lord thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?" Isa. 51:9-13.

"For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live forever. If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me." Deut. 32:40,41.
"A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished: it is sharpened to make a sore slaughter; it is furbished that it may glitter: should we then make mirth? it contemneth the rod of my son, AS EVERY TREE. And he hath given it to be furbished, that it may be handled (used by a man): this sword is sharpened, and it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer...Thou therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thine hands together, and let the sword be DOUBLED the third time, the sword of the slain: it is the sword of the great men that are slain, which entereth into their privy chambers (secret sins). I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may faint, and their ruins be multiplied: ah! it is made bright, it is wrapped up for the slaughter. Go thee one way or other, either on the right hand, or on the left (sheep or goats), whithersoever thy face is set. I will also smite mine hands together, and I will cause my fury to rest: I the Lord have said it." Ezek. 21:9-11; 14-17.
"And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord God concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach (unconverted to God's system of rule); even say thou, The SWORD, the SWORD is drawn: for the slaughter it is furbished, to consume because of the glittering: whiles they (the wicked) see vanity unto thee, whiles they divine a lie unto thee (saying it will not come to pass), to bring thee upon the necks of them that are slain, of the wicked, whose day is come, when their iniquity shall have an end." Ezek. 21:28,29.
"He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him." Prov. 18:13.

"What can all this mean? -- Just this: Joshua is Heaven's appointed judge, ruler. He himself is crowned as such. And in response to the Lord's Own command, Joshua crowns (authorizes) his helpers whom the Lord Himself names. In other words, as members of 'the house of David,' Joshua authorizes them to engage in the work. So, Joshua is responsible to the Lord (angel), but his helpers are responsible to Joshua. Here is seen an organization having a Leader and an under leader--the Lord and Joshua. Thus it is that whatever is to be bound on earth (by Joshua's organization), is also to be bound in Heaven (Matt. 16:19).
"As concretely as Heaven can make it, this symbolism depicts that God's people in this final work are not to labor at cross purposes. All are to speak the same thing. So it is that His Watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring again Zion.' Isa. 52:8. The His people shall be called 'The Holy people, The redeemed of the Lord,' 'Sought out, A city not forsaken' (Isa. 62:12)." --Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 8 (Reprint), pp. 26,27.
