The Complete Interview List

1 - Tell us how your project(s) were started.

The Anchorite Four was started by Patrick and his friend Joel wanting to start a band up. They met Mike when they needed a bassist through their departing bassist. Mike recommended me when they needed a drummer for a talent show.

2 - What does music, in it's entirety, mean to you?

Music is, like everything else, in the eye of the beholder. To some, it's just something to listen to. To some, it represents a lifestyle. To me, it depends. Sometimes I do bands just for fun. Music has a great effect on my life overall, though. In every way possible.

3 - What does art, in it's entirety, mean to you?

Art is the same way. Music is art to me, so I guess it'd be the same answer. I can't draw worth shit or anything like that, but I can appreciate someone with artistic talent.

4 - Who is your favorite author, and why?

Maybe Ray Bradbury because I love science fiction and I think he has a really good handle on what human nature is like and things of that sort. That and a really good imagination. I'm not huge reader, though.

5 - As your best friend, describe yourself.

I'd probably hate myself if I weren't me. Hahaha, i'm honest for a great part. Which a lot of people can't stand a lot of the time. I dont' know, i'm just a guy.

6 - As your worst enemy, describe yourself.

I'd just call myself fat a lot. Hardheaded. An asshole because I don't always say nice things.

7 - If your persona were immortalized as a cartoon character, who would it be?

I have NO idea. Popeye?

8 - Do you think there are conspiracies against the "everyday person"?

I'm sure there might be. I'm pretty in between on stuff that there aren't ways for me to get definite answers on. I think most of it is just advertising that people buy into. Anything beyond that, I have no idea.

9 - What do you do with your spare or free time?

Sleep. Hang out with friends and watch movies. My free time is usually from 10pm to 6am so there's not too much to do.

10 - Please give us your interpretation of "the meaning of life".

The way I see it, the meaning of life is to just be happy without fucking with anybody else. For some people, happiness is helping out others. For some people it's sex. for some people it's being alone. just take it and run with it.
