1 - Tell us how
your project(s) were started.
I started the band
around 1999 with my friends from past bands. I wanted to start a raw rock and
roll band that was loud and free and fun but outside of the many subgenres of
metal, instead just fun, wild, acid rock with a blues base and some psychedelic
magic. On guitar we have Mike Kelleher, Brad Fury and Jose Wright on Bass. Our
drumer is Mark Binion and I play r.guitar and sing. We have a CD out now on
Smallstone Records out of Detroit Rock City.
2 - What does music, in it's entirety, mean to you?
Music is all, its
my life..Music is like air, food, water..its all dreams and cosmic vibrations
that come from the universe and then back into your eyes, ears or hands..then
you give it back to the world.
3 - What does art,
in it's entirety, mean to you?
Art is like music,
art is also the only justification for suffering in some ways..art comes from
heartbreak as well as joy. So you can in a way justify some of the heartbreak
in life but the creation of art which helps other people in times of trouble..also
there is of course, art and music which is from joy and ecstasy, which I like
alot better!! hahaha.
4 - Who is your
favorite author, and why?
Right now probably
Tolkein..I love the LOR books and films so much. Also I like Napolean
Hill, cause I'm a firm believer in the power of the mind. I used to dig on Stephen
King but he lost me awhile back..I also like Peter Straub's Shadowland
and some of the Anne Rice books. The first four or so are real cool.
5 - As your best friend, describe yourself.
Man I don't know
about that one!..Probably I'm just a fucked up guy whose whole life was about
music..who never gave up and tried real hard somehow stumbled into a moment
or two of grace when I'm not struggling to climb another mountain. My Dad always
said..well you can fuck up, just don't ever give up! I'm a real driven person
and I'm a Leo, so we're arrogant people.
6 - As your worst
enemy, describe yourself.
What I said in
the above answer..but also I can be accused of living in my own world..all day..everyday!
But its great..fuck reality! Want to come in??
7 - If your persona
were immortalized as a cartoon character, who would it be?
I would be like
Shaggy cause I'm always trying to solve mysteries when I'm not eating junk food
and going 'Zoikes!" or whatever he said Hahaha..I'm also like that guy
in Mystery Men ...Mr.Furious? Cause I get really mad and don't seem to
be taken seriously by my fellow superheroes but I keep on trying to fight evil
and pick up chicks.
8 - Do you think
there are conspiracies against the "everyday person"?
Yes! I do definitely..UFOs,
Satanic socities, Lizard people..they're all out there! Watch out boy! I think
its so deep if you really knew about it you'd lose your mind. What you see and
hear on TV and the newspaper is NOT reality..it's all controlled for what they
want you to see or think. Money runs the world, who has the money? And yes I
definitely believe aliens and ancient gods somehow stir the bowl of life as
we know it.
9 - What do you
do with your spare or free time?
I like to read,
watch movies, work out, travel..But my head is so filled with music I am often
alone in my house writing songs when the others are out having fun and living
like the bad ass rockstars in training they are. I'm a real private person..my
fun is top secret but it involves euro super model girls and cutting edge super
alien drugs which you've never heard of in your hum drum daily life.
10 - Please give us your interpretation of "the meaning of life".
Life...I think love is what gives life meaning..in whatever form or purpose it takes for you..but life is also about DRIVE. very few people have drive, and what they are driven to is up to them. But at the end of the day love is the only thing that can never die. The higher power. All else falls away.
