The Complete Interview List

1 - Tell us how your project(s) were started.

Most of my projects started from friendship. Four out five guys in Face Tomorrow were in a hardcore band, called Undebatable Ground, that was started when we were all still in high school, about 7 years ago. Just kids with a common interest in hardcore music who wanted to play in a band. After a while Aart (guitar in FT) and Denis (bass in FT) wanted to play another style of HC, more old school. They asked me on drums, so I was in two bands. Then, a bunch of line up changes later, Marc (guitar in FT) joined and then just three years ago Jelle (vocals in FT) was added to the line up. Along with people coming and going, also came a big style change, much more melodic, a style we like to call indiecore... Some other people in Undebatable Ground wanted to make more metal styled music, they started a metalcore band, that I joined a few years later. It's called Dead By Dawn also featuring I-Reject singer Sander who plays bass in this band.
I also like to jam a lot, so I have some projects with friends just for that purpose. Undebatable Ground broke up a few years ago so I now have two bands in totally different styles of music and a jam project that has no particular style whatsoever, which is a lot of fun and takes up almost allof my time.

2 - What does music, in it's entirety, mean to you?

My life I guess. It means everything to me. There's not much else I would want to do in this world.

3 - What does art, in it's entirety, mean to you?

Some art can really grab me. But I think the most important thing about it is the human right to express yourself, which should be a freedom for everyone in the world to enjoy...

4 - Who is your favorite author, and why?

I have no favorite author...

5 - As your best friend, describe yourself.

I would say that I'm a pretty laidback, friendly kinda guy...

6 - As your worst enemy, describe yourself.

A lazy bum

7 - If your persona were immortalized as a cartoon character, who would it be?

Duckman

8 - Do you think there are conspiracies against the "everyday person"?

No, well sometimes, but that's mere paranoia...

9 - What do you do with your spare or free time?

Listen to music, hang out with friends, and play more music...

10 - Please give us your interpretation of "the meaning of life".

Being born, making the best of it (or not), raise some kids to the best of your ability and then die...
