The Complete Interview List

1. Tell us how your project(s) were started.

Long Distance Calling was started by Janosch and Jan. After a lot of jam sessions Flo and Dave entered the band. I was the "missing piece" and entered in March 2006. The idea of this band is just to do something different to the music we did before (everyone of us has a metal background). But we never talked about the "something different", we let the music just happen.

Kadrage is my solo project that is about creating ambient/drone/glitch textures. The concept and the way of creating the music was done by finding a name for this project. I use all sorts of audio material to create my own sound. The goal is to let the time go.

Suns Of Atacma was formed with Ralf the guitar player of doom masters Black Shape Of Nexus. We just went to the studio during Winter 2008 and started to let tour computers and synthesizers scream.

Art is a word that can be filled with lots of associations, and imaginations what art is - or if something can be considered as art. I think there is one thing you can say about art in general there is always an expression of the artist and the impression observer, listener or whatever.
For me, art means a lot and is a great pool of different creative stylistics that are all worth to be explored.
